Te Au Moana ~The Ocean Tide Luau & Hula Show
Following the Kupuna’s (ancestors) method of storytelling, Te Au Moana comes to life in a storytelling format.
The legendary episodes of Maui (the Demi-God) recount how he lifted the heavens from the earth so that man could walk tall, how he slowed down the Sun so that his mother, Hina, could dry her Kapa (bark cloth), retrieved Ava (ceremonial drink) from the Gods so that man could partake, and the fishing up of the Islands from the Sea. These and many other Hawaiian myths & legends come to life on stage!
Overall the Wailea Marriott’s Te Au Moana Luau is a fun family-friendly Hawaiian Luau on Maui. Te Au Moana Luau has a fun and interactive Hula Show with male and female Hula Dancers and is considered one of the best Hula Shows on Maui!
